DEFEND—A Dependent Failures Databaseneous data from event reports and component failure data, NCSR undertook the. development of a new dependent failures database which would contain all of the available data in an upgraded and rationalised form. This database, DEFEND, was designed so that it could potentially support a range of dependent failures models.

Data Selection for Probabilistics Safety Assessmentghest importance measure was replaced by consistently high and low data drawn from generic sources. The results show an increase by a factor of 15 in the normalized core melt frequency. The exercise was repeated for the 23 most important components and a factor of 46 in core melt frequency was observed

Evaluation of the Probability Distribution of Evacuation Time from a Light Railway Transport Stationation of the evacuation process with the EPDES code, response surface synthesis using stepwise regression, uncertainty propagation by means of Latin Hypercube Sampling.
