A Biochemical Approach to Identify Direct MicroRNA Targets,y the tumor suppressor miRNA miR-34a. This method involves transfection of cells with biotinylated miRNA mimics, streptavidin pulldown, RNA isolation, and qRT-PCR. Rapid and Efficient Elimination of Specific Nuclear Noncoding RNAs in Mammalian Cells with Antisensons have yet to be elucidated. Here, we describe a method for the rapid and efficient elimination of specific nuclear noncoding RNAs in mammalian cells using chemically modified antisense oligonucleotides, which may facilitate the functional assessment of nuclear ncRNAs.
