Feature Map Reduction in CNN for Handwritten Digit Recognition, them leads to unnecessary wastage of resources. In the present work, we have proposed to reduce the feature maps that are used to train the CNN to reduce storage space and computation time. Experimental results show that the time required to train the CNN decreases with reducing the number of feature maps without notably affecting the accuracy.

How Effective Is the Moth-Flame Optimization in Diabetes Data Classification,taheuristic algorithm named Moth-Flame Optimization for diabetes data classification. The MFO is used to update the weights of the feed foreword neural network. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by experimenting Wisconsin Hospital dataset. A comparative analysis has been performed with respect to the recently published works.

Affinity Maturation of Homophones in Word-Level Speech Recognition,word-level recognition, an artificial immune system algorithm is proposed in the earlier part of this research where the recognition rate of a correct homophone word is minimal. In this paper, an affinity maturation technique is proposed to increase the correct recognition rate at the preliminary phase of the artificial immune algorithm.
