A Comparative Study of the Seismic Provisions of Indian Seismic Code IS 1893-2002 and Draft Indian Ctems, effect of masonry infill works on design of framed building, simplifying torsional provisions and simplified method of liquefaction potential analysis are carried out as extra items. Similarities and differences among both codes are illustrated here in the form of tables and graphs.
