Characterization of A-93178, an Iminoxy-Quinoline,nase activating protein (FLAP).. Three compounds with this mechanism have reached the clinic but all three have apparently been withdrawn.. We have synthesized a number of leukotriene inhibitors that are not direct inhibitors of 5-lipoxygenase with optimized pharmacokinetic and pharmacological characteristics. The best of these is A-93178.

Bulbs,lbs led to detection of novel divinyl ethers 12-[1′(.)-hexenyloxy]-9(.),11(.)-dodecadienoic (etheroleic) and 12-[1′(.),3′(.)-hexadienyloxy]-9(.),11(.)-dodecadienoic (etherolenic) acids., products of 13-hydroperoxides of linoleic and linolenic acids (13-HPOD and 13-HPOT) conversion, respectively.

Catalytic and Spectroscopic Properties of Linoleate Diol Synthase of the Fungus ,,y found to be a hemoprotein.. The protein had an apparent molecular size of 130 kDa on SDA-PAGE and it appeared to be a tetramer on gel filtration. The protein will be referred to as linoleate diol synthase.
