Influence of Backpack Load on Energy Expenditure during Walking,re compared to the energy expended for the usual walking without carrying any load. The energy expended by the student remains statistically same for all the load conditions; hence, clearing the dilemma in the minds of students about backpack load carriage while climbing the steps.

Condition Monitoring in Additive Manufacturing Using Support Vector Machine, used as the main features for training the FDM model based on a quadratic support vector machine algorithm (SVM) and a K-fold cross-validation approach, an accuracy of 78.6% is achieved. Such a technique is capable of preventing the faulty component in the job floor and help save the material by diagnosing the machine at the earliest.

Data Acquisition System for Measurement of Biomechanical Variables in Sit-to-Stand Task,nk flexion/extension, and reaction forces at the feet and seat, is presented. The proposed data acquisition system is capable of real-time data monitoring as well as recording of variables during STS activity. The recorded data can be further used to synthesize the motion and formulate control strategies for orthotic aids.
