,Characterization of Ti-31 Alloy Coated with WC–Co/Cr by HVOF Technique,ation, coating thickness, and microhardness are evaluated as per ASTM standards. Coatings are dense and have a typical lamellar structure and are deposited successfully by using HVOF spray coating technology and obtained microhardness of 526 HV on 423-micron coating thickness on Ti-31 substrate.

Experimental Evaluation of Failure Load of Composite Conical Thin Shell Without Bulkhead,ctual tests. Four numbers of similar hardware were tested and found to have different failure loads. However, the mode of failure was found to be similar in all the four shells. Load transfer was successfully achieved on the shells even in the absence of bulkhead structures.
