Sea Wave Simulation,hen, there wouldn’t be time to give the details, the actual procedures. So, directional problems, for instance, will be only briefly considered; for computer simulation, methods based on random amplitudes and random frequencies will be left out; for physical simulation, the generation of waves by wind blowers will not be considered.

Fundamentals of Hydraulic Physical Modelling,is designed correctly. If the design is not correct, then the model is wrong in principle, and in that case, the employment of the most sophisticated instrumentation and measurement-methods can serve only to increase the accuracy of wrong predictions.

River Models,Preliminary definitions: The scale numbers are defined as the ratio of the measure in nature Xp (also called prototype) to the measure in the model Xm: X = Xp/Xm. This definition gives scale numbers greater than 1, which is more practical for calculation.
