Mirror Systems for X-Ray Telescopes,ge collecting area with small detector dimensions, which decreases the technical difficulties to a considerable extent and increases the signal-to-noise ratio; on the other hand, reflecting objectives open up the possibility in principle of obtaining an image analogous to that provided by telescopes in the visible region of the spectrum.
