Microwave Effect on Embryo Brain: Dose Dependence and the Effect of Modulationritical for the evaluation of possible health hazards from EMF exposure. Earlier we demonstrated that imprinting is a good model for studying effects of low levels of various physical factors on the embryonic nervous system. We are not aware of any studies of EMF effects on imprinting behavior.

Exposure of biological systems to RFR energy of sufficient intensity may lead to temperature elevation when the rate of energy absorption exceeds the rate of energy dissipation.

Electromagnetic Field Calculations in an Anatomically Realistic Voxel Model of the Human Bodyalistic voxel model of the human body. This phantom consists of ~ 9 million, 2 mm voxels segmented into 37 tissue types. The exact dimensions of the voxels were scaled so that the height (1.76 m) and the mass (73 kg) would agree with the new values of reference man in ICRP 66. Hence the phantom is known as NORMAN (.malized .).

Recent Advancements in Dosimetry Measurements and Modelingon (RFR). However, whole-body SAR values do not reveal possible localized “hot spots”. Although differences in regional temperatures have been measured in animals during RFR exposure [1–3], the use of temperature probes to make empirical measurements of these “hot spots” can be extremely time consuming and are invasive in nature [4].
