A Coupling-Based Analysis of a Multiclass Retrial System with State-Dependent Retrial Ratesocesses of retrials with the corresponding independent Poisson processes. This result allows to apply classic property PASTA in the following performance analysis. A few numerical results verifying stability conditions of a 3-class system are included as well.

On Rational Behavior in a Loss System with One Observable Queue and One Unobservable Queueis the strategy of the customers. We analyze and characterize the Nash equilibria and the socially-optimal probabilities of the system, and the relation between the two as function of the model’s parameters. We also examine throughput maximization.
