,Signal Processing—Wavelength Conversion,efinition of basic parameters and various FWM schemas are introduced. Optimization of the static FWM properties are discussed. The AOWC of differential (quadrature) phase-shift keying (D(Q)PSK) signals with a symbol rate of 40 GBd is demonstrated within a wavelength range of at least 35 nm.
