,Observing the decoherence of the meter in a measurement: a variation on schr?dinger’s cat experimen was performed with Rydberg atoms (the measured system) coupled one by one to a coherent field made of microwave photons in a high Q superconducting cavity (the .). It provides a striking illustration of Schr?dinger’s cat paradox. Possible applications and follow ups of this experiment are discussed.
