Large Deviations for Stationary Gaussian Processes,be stationary Gaussian. Similar large deviation results are obtained under natural hypotheses on the spectral density function of the base process. A rather explicit formula for the entropy involved is also obtained.

,SU(2) Lattice Gauge Theory: Standard Action Versus Symanzik’s Tree-Improved Action,We carry out Monte Carlo simulations of the 4. SU(2) lattice gauge theory. The standard action and the Symanzik tree-improved action are used. Results for the string tension, glueball masses, and energy-momentum dispersion are reported. In case of the standard action our results are a finite size study extending previous investigations.

The Energy-Momentum Spectrum in Local Field Theories with Broken Lorentz-Symmetry,Assuming locality of the observables and positivity of the energy it is shown that the joint spectrum of the energy-momentum operators has a Lorentz-invariant lower boundary in all superselection sectors. This result is of interest if the Lorentz-symmetry is (spontaneously) broken, such as in the charged sectors of quantum electrodynamics.
