Multidomain End to End IP QoS and SLA network backbone, which connects more than 30 National Research and Education Networks (NREN). A multidomain Premium IP service, based on the EF PHB, has been specified and implemented for that environment. Its architecture is summarised here and early experimental results are reported.

On Performance Objective Functions for Optimising Routed Networks for Best QoSive function. We argue that min max utilisation is an appropriate function for heavily loaded network, while end to end delay is more appropriate optimization objective for lightly loaded condition, at which most of the backbones are operating.
