描述.This proceedings volume contains selected and expanded contributions presented at the 8th International Symposium of Space Optical Instruments and Applications, held in Beijing, China on 15~17 November, 2023. The symposium was organized by the Sino-Holland Space Optical Instruments Joint Laboratory and supported by Beijing Institute and Space Mechanics and Electricity..In recent years, space optical payloads are advancing towards high spatial resolution, high temporal resolution, high radiometric resolution, and high spectral resolution and becoming more and more intelligent. Commercial remote sensing industry has made steady progress in terms of the scope of satellite systems and applications. A Combined Optical Telescope and Laser Rangefinder Target Localization Method Based on a Single Device,d by using the geocentric coordinates and the preset pointing error correction model, and the distance of the spatial target relative to the optoelectronic telescope is measured by fusing the laser rangefinder to complete the joint target positioning of the optical telescope and the laser rangefinder.

Object-Independent Image Restoration Based on Deep Learning,chieve good image restoration results even for complex aberrations involving 35 Zernike aberration modes. Compared to traditional blind restoration algorithms, it exhibits advantages in restoration time and better SSIM and PSNR.
