Yet, its foundations and interpretation are the subject of continuous controversy. In this chapter, we will briefly address the Bayesian approach, fuzzy numbers, and some other alternatives.

We discuss topics such as the mean, the standard deviation, geometric statistics, correlation, and the visualization in terms of, e.g., boxplots and histograms.
