描述Der verdichtete Wohnbau ist ein Indikator für die soziale Verfasstheit einer Gesellschaft. Die Mehrheit der Bev?lkerung will im Einfamilienhaus wohnen. Die Frage ist, ob sich diese ersehnte Qualit?t auch im verdichteten Wohnbau realisieren l?sst. über 400 Studenten der TU Wien haben im Rahmen eines Entwurfsstudios diese Frage bearbeitet und Wohnbauprojekte unterschiedlicher Dichten und Milieus entwickelt. Zusammen mit Beitr?gen renommierter ArchitektInnen wie Silvia Boday, Marlies Breuss, Eva Ceska, Maria Fl?ckner, Susanne Fritzer, Katharina Fr?ch, Kinayeh Geiswinkler-Aziz, Gerda Maria Gerner, Feria Gharakhanzadeh, Adele Gindlstrasser, Ulrike Hausdorf, Franziska Orso, Ursula Schneider und Martina Sch?berl werden ausgew?hlte Arbeiten in diesem Buch dokumentiert. Einleitend werden kontr?re Konzepte horizontaler und vertikaler Verdichtung im Wohnbau in Form von Interviews mit den Architekten Harry Glück und Roland Rainer (geführt von Gerhard Steixner und Maria Welzig) gebracht.
