Mitigation of Wideband Oscillationzers (NPSS) for converter-based devices to mitigate the WBOs are presented, including the principles of their offline and online tuning. Finally, the chapter discusses the application of different types of NPSSs in existing converter-based devices as well as the development of shunt converters specially designed to suppress the WBOs.
