How the Cathedral Embraced the Bazaar, and the Bazaar Became a Cathedral,gile, iterative development. In this paper, we share our experiences regarding this co-evolution of open and closed source from the viewpoints of tools, practices, and organizing the development work, concluding that today’s bazaars and cathedrals have much more common characteristics than those that separate them.

Using FLOSS for Storing, Processing and Linking Corpus Data, search of syntactic units, a search of N-grams and others. The search is performed using open source tools (database management system MariaDB, Redis data store). This article describes the process of choosing FLOSS for the main components of our system and also processing a search query and building a linked open dataset based on corpus data.

Combining Two Modelling Approaches: GQM and KAOS in an Open Source Project,er, both models can be presented within a single diagram, thus providing an expressive and concise overview of the systems goals, actors and measurements. The suggested combination is then applied in the context of an open source project, followed by the discussion on potential benefits and drawbacks of using the two approaches.
