Properties of Winds and Chromospheres in G to M Giants and Supergiantspergiant, the B star can be used as a light source which probes the wind and extended chromosphere of the cool super-giant with spatial resolution. It is shown that; with more accurate wind velocities and mass-loss rates having become available, systematic trends of wind properties with stellar parameters become apparent.
