Climate Change,ojected to expand the tropics and shift mid-latitude weather systems southwards, changing the seasonality of rainfall. Increasing temperatures are expected to have significant impacts via changes in the frequency of extremes. Some of these trends are already evident.

Seeing Red: Some Aspects of the Geological and Climatic History of the Australian Arid Zone,the oldest dated sand dunes are around 1 million years old. The formation of red rocks and regolith is more constrained by atmospheric oxygen levels than by aridity and may extend back hundreds of millions of years.

Book 2018to be directed. Lead authors were encouraged to take such an approach; they had the?opportunity to involve any author they considered appropriate. The final product should.be a fabulous resource, also for university courses, especially at MSc level..
