Analyzing Burkean Rhetoric in Pre-service Teachers’ Identity Narrativesing the rhetorical means and linguistic features and the types of identity rhetoric that appear in them. We conclude by discussing the meaning of analyzing rhetoric in studies on pre-service teachers’ identity development and the implications for teacher education.

Exploring the Use of Pre-service Teachers’ Visual Narratives to Study Emotionsicipants’ conversations around them in the arts-based workshop, we demonstrate how the use of visual narratives enabled the embodiment of emotions and collective emotions to emerge. The findings show how visual narratives can be used for studying emotions in the process of becoming a teacher.
