The chapter reviews many of the cryptographic algorithms in use and recommends those that will provide high assurance systems with adequate protection. M. T. Dokulil,J. Padisakors show that substantial reductions can be obtained in garbage collection time (up to 29X) and that the overall execution time can be reduced by more than 10%. Brigitte Nixdorfbus traffic profile of applications running individually on the system to predict the effect when scheduling these applications simultaneously. We show that the devised predictor of scheduling effect highly correlates to the behavior observed through simulations.
