Computation of Viscous Transonic Flows Using an Unsteady Type Method and a Zonal Grid Refinement TeThe Navier-Stokes equations are numerically solved by an unsteady type method with an explicit predictor-corrector scheme. The equations are discretized in conservative form using MacCormack’s finite difference scheme directly in the physical plane on an arbitrary curvilinear mesh. This discretization method is described in [1, 2].

Numerical Simulation of Compressible Laminar Nozzle Flow,The full Navier-Stokes equations are solved by a finite-volume Runge-Kutta time-stepping approach. The artificial dissipation needed to stabilize the solution is modified to avoid too high damping near walls. The flow through a double throat nozzle is computed and analysed for different Reynolds number.
