Numerical Modelling of Forgingn of heavy hot forgings on a regular basis. Since this date, advances in forging equipment have improved the efficiency and industrial viability of the process. Current attention is focused on the structure and quality of the forged product, and this is one area where mathematical modelling can make a real contribution.
