Here, we present the methods developed in our laboratory for fluorescently labeled aptamers, study their internalization inside living cells using time-lapse microscopy, and monitor their biodistribution in mice bearing subcutaneous xenograft tumors using planar fluorescence imaging and fluorescence diffuse optical tomography (fDOT).
