Hans-Georg Müllermpt to provide an exhaustive review of prior studies of development of the cardiac specialized tissue. Rather we will attempt to provide an outline of embryogenesis which we hope will facilitate interpretation and aid comprehension of the subsequent contributions to this book.

Introduction,r regression models which are nonlinear in the parameters, an iterative numerical algorithm has to be employed in order to obtain the parameter estimates as solutions of the normal equations. This can lead to computational difficulties when we deal with sophisticated nonlinear models.
