Uniqueness of non-negative solutions of a class of semi-linear elliptic equations,rise in the study of semi-linear elliptic differential equations in ?.. It is shown that (BVP) has at most one non-negative non-trivial solution under appropriate conditions on . and .. The conditions are weaker than those given by Peletier and Serrin [.], who considered the special case .(.) = (. - 1)/r, . = 2, 3,?.

Diffusion-Reaction Systems in Neutron-Fission Reactors and Ecology,stions concerning the existence and stability of positive solutions remain unanswered. For example, the existence of nontrivial positive steady state solutions in the temperature dependent case (non-prompt feedback) in Section 2 is unknown.

Qualitative Behavior for a Class of Reaction-Diffusion-Convection Equations,are interested in describing the structure of the (semi)-dynamical system governed by (1)–(2), namely, what are the equilibrium states, what is the behavior of solutions close to a given equilibrium state, and what else can be said concerning the global description of the set of all possible solutions of (1)–(2).
