Persistence Length in Microemulsion Systemsristic size of the oil and water microdomains, and that this size will be close to ξ.. We will present measurements of the film elastic modulus . (obtained with ellipsometry) and of the characteristic size ξ. (obtained with low-angle X-ray diffraction) done on several microemulsion systems confirming these ideas.

Dry Spreading of Polymer Liquids on Solid Surfaces: Role of Long Range Forces, Precursor Film Profiled this precursor film (both its profile and its evolution) by optical techniques. The results are compared with the recent de Gennes and Joanny’ theoretical predictions, and specific polymeric effects are pointed out.
