Novel Methods for the Separation of Optical Isomers,h O,O‘-dibenzoyltartaric acid, enzymatic resolutions and dynamic kinetic resolutions demonstrate that the synthesis of racemic mixtures followed by optical resolution of the racemate represent nowadays an environmentally benign and economic alternative for preparation single enantiomers.
