But as for the other properties of black holes – well, astrophysicists have learned lots about them. The key to unlocking the secrets of black holes is to look at them through X-ray telescopes.

Other Earths,nets exist – are there planets out there with roughly Earth’s mass, containing liquid water, and that might, just might, support life? Perhaps the next generation of optical telescopes will answer this age-old question.
