Spinal Cord Potentials (SCPs) Produced by Descending Volleys in Manal cortex or brain stem (1–5). Direct stimulation of the dorsal surface of the cord has also been shown to evoke cord dorsum negative-positive complexes over the lumbosacral enlargement in experimental animals (6).

Usefulness of Motor Evoked Potentials (Pyramidal D-Response) for Assessment of Spinal Cord Injurybe recorded from the epidural space of the spinal cord in humans as well as experimental animals, is recorded in combination with recordings of conventional spinospinal evoked potentials and peripherospinal evoked potentials in acute periods of cervical cord injury.

Standardization of Evoked Potential Recordingly no two groups utilize exactly the same set-up procedures on their instrumentation. Additionally, the specific choices allowed often differ considerably from one manufacturer to another with the use of non-standard in-house designs further compounding this problem.

Experimental Ascending Evoked Potentials in Spinal Cord Injuryeven if there was no latency delay in the ventral part, in lOOg/cm contusion injury. There was no distinct relationship between severity of the injury and appearance of positive-going killed end potentials in acute contusion injury of the spinal cord.
