Peripheral Nerve Field Stimulation (PNfS),t often aligned with the identification of the correct patient, as well as the selection and placement of the leads and implantable pulse generators. PNfS carries less risk of complications compared to other neuromodulatory procedures, but lead migration, erosion, infection, or mechanical issues with the device may occur.
