In Oculo Differentiation of Embryonic Neocortex into Retina in Adult Ratch is 6 months. These findings indicated that early embryonic cortex is capable of differentiating into retina in the anterior chamber of the eye in adult rat, which may have some trophic factor. The continued survival of the retina seems to depend on the connections of the major cell types with the appropriate target sites.
