Hardness of Firewall Analysis,e remaining 12 problems are shown to be NP-hard by reductions from the slice probing problem. The negative results of this paper suggest that firewalls designers may need to rely on SAT solvers to solve instances of these 13 problems or may be content with probabilistic solutions of these problems.

Privacy-Preserving Distributed Collaborative Filtering,ms of accuracy and privacy trade-offs, bandwidth consumption, as well as resilience to a censorship attack. In short, our extensive evaluation shows that our twofold mechanism provides a good trade-off between privacy and accuracy, with little overhead and high resilience.
