Cystic Neoplasms,Mucinous cystic neoplasms arise from the bile duct epithelium. These neoplasms form a multiloculated single cyst divided by multiple septa. Unusually, there may be a unilocular single cyst without internal septa. These tumors originate from the epithelium of the intrahepatic bile ducts, and thus they are found in the liver.

Benign Neoplasms of the Bile Ducts,Several classification schemes have been proposed for bile duct neoplasms. The most widely accepted is that of the World Health Organization.
