The Volatility Connectedness Between Oil and Stocks: Evidence from the G7 Markets,e markets shocks since it receives more bad volatility than good. Furthermore, spillover asymmetry is enhanced in all turbulence periods. Our findings suggest that, in crisis periods, the uninformed traders dominate the markets and increase volatility, which enhances the negative spillovers.
