Introduction,study. A short generalization of the previous works fulfilled in Perm State University on deposits with fine gold particles is given. The modern methods of research applied to the objects with nanogold include specific field sampling and high-resolution electron microscopy with microprobe analysis under laboratory conditions.

,“Aggregate” Gold on the Nanoscale,tion is mercury (up to 30% and more). It is proved that this gold origins due to the process of natural amalgamation. Sometimes intergrowths of “aggregate” and other morphological types of gold are found.

Genesis of Natural Nanogold,ical composition with specific associations of elements, pseudomorphs after bacteria, etc. The most favourable conditions for origin of nanogold are created in the weathered rocks above deposits with plenty of mineral–concentrators (first of all, Fe-sulfides). The geological formations with nanogold are enumerated, too.
