A Unified Framework for Emotional Elements Extraction Based on Finite State Matching Machineillegitimate feature-opinion pairs. Compared with traditional methods, the framework achieves high accuracy and scalability in emotional element extraction. Experimental results show that the extracting accuracy is up to 84%, which has increased by 20% comparing with traditional phrase matching techniques.

Discriminative Latent Variable Based Classifier for Translation Error Detectionerimental results show that the proposed DPLVM-based classifier reduce classification error rate (CER) by relative 1.75%, 1.69%, 2.61% compared to the MaxEnt classifier, and relative 0.17%, 0.91%, 2.12% compared to the SVM classifier over three different feature combinations.

A Simple, Fast Strategy for Weighted Alignment Hypergraphe.g. SCFG rules). In response to this problem, we propose an inside-outside algorithm to efficiently enumerate the consistent alignments. Experimental results show that our method is twice as fast as the Bull’s algorithm. In addition, the efficient dynamic programming algorithm makes our approach applicable to syntax-based translation models.
