Unofficial Strikes,An important feature of the strikes, which needs some consideration, is their “unofficial” nature, i.e., the strikers are not entitled to receive strike-pay from the funds of the union. The large frequency of such disputes and the changed role of the trade unions have, however, given a loose meaning to the term “unofficial” strikes.
