Recent Developments in Silica Nanoparticle Based Drug Delivery Systems among different silica nanostructures, mesoporous silica nanoparticles carry pores, loading and release of drug from mesoporous silica nanoparticles are very easy. Hence mesoporous silica nanoparticles are being extensively used as a drug delivery platform to combat different diseases including infectious diseases.
