Myopiaes. Microperimetry-1 (MP-1, NIDEK, Italy) promises to provide more information because of lesion-related perimetry with monitoring the fundus in eyes with pathologic myopia. It is also useful to evaluate treatment effectiveness or improvement in pathologic myopia with complications because this may provide information not available by other means.

Inflammatory Chorioretinal Disordersimpairment of photoreceptors and that subclinical macular dysfunction is a permanent damage in these patients. Full assessment of macular function by integrating microperimetry and BCVA provides a more comprehensive approach for quantifying macular function in patients with inflammatory chorioretinal diseases.

Toxic Retinopathiesf retinal damage, as well as in the follow-up of these patients. Microperimetry is not yet considered a routine procedure in the management of toxic retinopathies, but the information obtained are essential to ensure a tailored decision about the need to discontinue the drug preventing permanent vision loss.
