Micronutrient soil testing for the tropics,. Soil testing for micronutrients is particularly difficult because plant requirements for these elements are relatively low and even slight contamination of a sample or modification of a procedure may seriously affect soil test results.

The chemistry of micronutrients in soil,de boron (B), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), molybdenum (Mo), and chlorine (Cl). This text will be limited to B, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, and Mo since natural deficiencies of Cl are essentially nonexistent.
