Electrical Performance of Electrically Conductive Silicone Rubber in Dependence on Tensile Load Accnt systems with such sensors do not require mounting, and also they can be miniaturized. The target of these investigations is to use the conductive silicone rubber as a strain sensor by means of changing its electrical properties depending on the tensile load under different conditions.

Overview and Classification of Flexure Hinge Based Micromanipulators,cromanipulators. The different attributes are identified and discussed. Existing micromanipulators are grouped according to this classification scheme and a clear overview of their specific structural characteristics and performance is given. Thus three different groups of micromanipulators can be identified.

Development of Adaptive Compliant Gripper Finger with Embedded Actuators,ted. The main contribution of this approach is that optimization of the actuator placement is included in the design process. It will be shown that gripper finger can achieve many complex grasping patterns via embedded actuators.
