Recent advances in the stereochemistry of metallotetrapyrroles,. A variety of important conformational aspects of metalloporphyrins and their consequent results on physical properties are presented. Finally, a number of isomorphous series and crystal packing effects in tetrapyrroles have been detailed.

Infrared and Raman spectra of metalloporphyrins,. The internal modes of an axial ligand (L) coordinated to the metal ion (M) as well as the M-L stretching modes and their difference between organic solution and protein matrix are described. Based on these data, differences and similarities in the M-L bonds among the three types of metal complexes of the conjugated macrocycles are discussed.

This paper present the analysis of the self-replication mechanism of one of the recent computer viruses and discusses the ways to detect the ability of a computer code to self-replicate before the execution.

Kinetics of Changes in the Secondary Structure of DNA Induced by the Binding of Platinum Cytostaticsoss-linking is a more frequent event involving mainly two guanines and, to a lesser extent, guanine and adenine, whereas the interstrand cross-linking represents less than 1% of total platinations |3|. Kinetic studies revealed that bifunctional binding to two guanine residues occurred more rapidly than binding to guanine and adenine |1,2|.
