Hybridphosphorylasesom phylogenetically different species, which can be distinguished immunologically and with respect to their amino acid composition, can form hybrids and what properties these hybrids may have. The hybrid species formed with phosphorylases from different tissues of the same animal may be looked upon as artificial isoenzymes.
