An Active Node Set Maintenance Scheme for Distributed Sensor Networks each node computes the probability through the densities of its own coverage and keeps it adaptively to the report history. The performance of proposed scheme is investigated via computer simulations. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme is very simple nevertheless efficient to save the energy.
