A Novel Application of Multifractal Features for Detection of Microcalcifications in Digital Mammogr our proposed method, and experimental results demonstrate that our detection algorithm outperforms other reported methods, reaching a higher sensitivity (80.6%) and reducing FP numbers to lower levels.

Multi-scale Tree-Based Topological Modelling and Classification of Micro-calcificationsn of several tree related micro-calcification features. We interlinked the distribution aspect of calcifications with the tree structures at each scale. Classification results show an accuracy of . for MIAS and . for DDSM, which is in-line with the state-of-the-art methods.
