Longitudinal Alignment of Disease Progression in Fibrosing Interstitial Lung Diseasetitial lung diseases. Classification results (AUC) of Usual Interstitial Pneumonia (UIP) versus non-UIP improve from AUC=0.71 to 0.78 following alignment, classification of UIP vs. Extrinsic Allergic Alveolitis (EAA) improves from 0.78 to 0.88.

A Matching Model Based on Earth Mover’s Distance for Tracking e image window, and the segmentation results may incur false alarm, detection lost, and falsely merged/split detections. We demonstrate it on tracking .. Applied to error-prone segmented cells, our algorithm exhibits higher track purity and produces more complete trajectories, comparing to several state-of-the-art detection association algorithms.

Motion Artefact Correction in Retinal Optical Coherence Tomography Using Local Symmetrying the overall shape of the retina. The method was quantitatively validated using a set of synthetic SD-OCT volumes and qualitatively by a group of trained OCT grading experts on 100 SD-OCT scans. Furthermore, we compared the motion compensation estimation by the proposed method with a hardware eye tracker on 100 SD-OCT volumes.

TGIF: Topological Gap In-Fill for Vascular Networksets using different metrics to assess topological and functional differences. Our experiments show that the proposed generative approach is superior to state-of-the-art approaches that only consider topology for vessel reconstruction and performs consistently well across different problem sizes and topologies.

Patient-Specific Simulation of Implant Placement and Function for Cochlear Implantation Surgery Planelectromagnetic field are performed on this personalized model. The model includes implanted electrodes and nerve fibers. We present the results for the bipolar stimulation protocol and predict the voltage spread and the locations of nerve excitation.

Splines for Diffeomorphic Image Regression use of temporal control points to control spline behavior. This necessitates the development of a shooting formulation for splines. Experimental results are shown for synthetic and real data. The performance of the method is compared to geodesic regression.
